Episode 219: Friendship Part 2 - Healthy Vs. Unhealthy, Myths and More with Connie Armerding

Today we are continuing our conversation around friendship with an emphasis on boundaries, unhealthy friendships, and where counseling and coaching come in throughout the seasons of life. Every healthy leader has good friends. Our personal friendships help us sustain our integrity over the long-haul of life, so, it's worth spending two full episodes to unpack the healthy and unhealthy elements of friendship. Terra Mattson, co-host of the podcast and co-founder of Living Wholehearted, has a candid conversation with one of the Living Wholehearted Executive Coaches, Connie Armerding, about friendship; what it is and what it is not. Connie and Tera were friends before working together at Living Wholehearted, and they have genuine insights to offer about the myths that run interference, particularly with female leaders, and how we can move toward building healthy friendships.

Terra Mattson is co-founder of Living Wholehearted, a professional counseling, executive coaching, and organizational development firm outside Portland, Oregon, helping leaders live and lead with integrity.
