Philosophy and Approach:

I believe that therapy is a collaborative, sacred space where clients bring themselves and their stories. Using your stories and experiences, our work together will center on your present circumstance as well as your hopes and expectations for the future. I believe sessions at their most positive are creative, practical, enriching, challenging, and helpful. As a systems and attachment trained clinician, our work together may involve your patterns in relationships, responses to trauma, what you value, social challenges you experience, and/or your strengths and resources. I incorporate emotion-focused therapy, child-centered play therapy, internal family systems therapy and mindfulness into therapy sessions. I will strive at providing you support and respect while we discover ways to help you live a more peaceful, authentic, and fulfilled life.

Our therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance to me. Honesty and vulnerability will be a crucial aspect of our working therapeutic relationship. Together, we will co-create a space of safety, warmth, healing and peace. Using the therapeutic relationship, our work together will center around discovering and interpreting your needs, feelings, and desires. By offering you compassion and affirmation, I hope to assist you in experiencing the change you desire. I welcome all feedback regarding our work together and strive on providing a space where open discussion about our process together is welcome.
